A day of Matisse with the UCAN children

For the past two weeks I've been working with children who have endured trauma, who are in need of love and a home.  We worked together on creating Matisse cut outs, watercolors of a still life with vase and flower, and illustrated the story of "The Beast of the Southern Wild".  The children are having fun creating and losing themselves to the process.
